Our History
In January 1989, Firemex was formed to fill a gap in the market where there was a great demand for specialist fire and building services for the industrial and commercial property markets. The Firemex team hit the ground running with manufacturing and installing fire doors and roller shutter doors, not only as a total building and maintenance service in these areas but as a planned maintenance program to ensure that these services would be maintained and upgraded as new products became available.
Fast forward 30 years, Firemex has earned its reputation as a leading fire and building service provider in Australia renowned for quality workmanship, flawless manufacturing and installation services. Brisbane-owned and operated, our fully qualified and experienced team work out of our factory in Salisbury where we manufacture high-quality fire doors, non-rated doors, sliding fire doors, fire rated glazed doors and glass windows all unique to your project’s requirements.

Firemex is an active member of various organisations to keep up to date on our ever-changing industry including the Fire Protection Association of Australia and Master Builders Queensland. We are committed to ongoing training and our staff often attend seminars, demonstrations and workshops held by suppliers on new products and installation methods.
